A downloadable game
Caven is a TTRPG with a simple, light and straightforward system. Mainly inspired by Troika!, Knave, Mausritter and some OSR elements.
I wrote everything with the intention of being a compilation of several systems that I like, mixed into one with some modifications. And in the same way you are free to modify absolutely everything in this book. You can think of it as suggestions and guidelines, not fixed rules.

Excited to play this as it looks great! But page 6 is a printing nightmare! 99% black is great for the aesthetics but terrible for the printer lol.

It makes me nervous when a game description says "more soon" because that makes me think the game isn't complete. Is this a fully playable game as-is?
Hi! Don't worry, it's fully playable. Future updates will just include more variety to the content that is already in-game such as more monsters, weapons, spells, etc. :)
Hey, really like what I see of the system. Quick question though. Am I misreading armour? because it looks like cloth provides as much protection as plate.

I love it! You've done a great job in mashing up other systems I adore while still maintaining a simple, rules-lite system. This very likely will become my new go-to for introducing newcomers to the hobby.
I have one request; is it possible to get a version of the character sheet without the black background for the name and origin section? It makes it a little hard for players to write on.
